Dan has had an extensive career leading and guiding numerous education teams in the UK and internationally, and after more than five years he recently stepped down as chief executive of ed tech Sparx Learning. During his tenure Sparx grew from catering to two to more than 2,200 schools, supporting two million students, covering 60% of all secondary schools in England, with a footprint in 24 countries. Dan was the founding director of the Ed Tech Evidence Group and is on the leadership council at the Centre for Universal Education at The Brookings Institution in Washington DC.
